You know what I love most about New Orleans?
The food, specifically Poboys. After leaving Beaucoup Juice (located down the street, see post below) we stumbled on Freret Street Poboys and Donuts. We realized how hungry we were and decided to try something new. This place is a unique neighborhood restaurant located at 4701 Freret Street, New Orleans, LA.
They specialize in Classic New Orleans Style Po-boy’s, Fresh Donuts made in house, and traditional New Orleans cuisine such as Red Beans & Rice, Gumbo made with seafood, chicken and Creole Meatball & Spaghetti.
It has a real homey feel to it kind of like a diner. Local art work is streamed across the walls, the staff were very hospitable and friendly, and the smell of fresh Poboys and donuts was divine. We all chose different Poboy sandwiches and Zapp’s Potato Chips. Can we say delicious?! We got so stuffed on the Poboys we didn’t have room for donuts, but we will definitely be back!
