So, we’ve got another Snowball story for y’all. Last weekend we attended an event hosted by NOLA’s own Slangston Hughes as a part of his live performance platform, known as Uniquity, with the band Fo On The Flo. The event was called Sneaux Flow 2, and it was held at Beaucoup Juice on 4713 Freret St.
Not only were there snowballs, but we enjoyed the music of Slangston, Element Movement’s soulful singer D. Selina, and also Lyriqs da Lyriciss. If you’ve never seen these 3 perform we definitely suggest you look them up and check them out.
So about these snowballs…
What makes Beaucoup Juice unique is that they don’t use your typical snowball syrups filled with tons of sugar, they actually use fresh fruit juice made right in their shop. So that means snowballs that are refreshing, fruity, and totally healthy! Their menu is pretty extensive and painted all over the colorful wall. They serve fresh juice and smoothies, and they make vegetable juice too. The walls are lined from corner to corner with unique and colorful artwork, including a hand drawn map of the city that takes up over half of a wall. We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely go back.
